Site Spotlight: Dresden, Germany
By Frank Magana (CA)

Dresden is part of the former East Germany and was one of Europe's most important cultural centers of the 1700's. The Semper Operah House is just one example of the culture this city once had. Then, on February 13th, 1945, the historical city was destroyed by the Allied Forces in retaliation to Nazi advances. It took about 50 years to rebuild the architecture, but many have yet to build a spiritual foundation.

Missionary Rick Boettiger shares a story about a young girl he met in Dresden.  The girl was watching a skit performed by a short-term missionary team when the main character was nailed to a cross. Christianity is so new to this formerly communist area that the girl was completely unfamiliar with the depiction of Jesus' sacrifice.  She had no idea who Jesus is!

Participants of the 2007 Dresden, Germany trip will minister to all age groups. Even now, the details are being finalized for the possibility of street evangelism and the distribution of gospel tracts. From morning devotions to evening services, the schedule will be full. To register for this trip, visit our web site.

Easy
Online Registration
By Christopher Wagner (WA)

Registration has never been easier. Yes, you should still pray for God's direction, but then don't wait another moment! Surf over to our web site (www.SunCityMissions.com) and create a username and password.

Remember all those forms you filled out last year? With access to our secure web site, you won't have to send us any paperwork. Even payments are made with 128-bit encription, the highest level of Internet security available. Our site uses the same security as your bank! You won't even have to send us your notarized consent/release form any more.

The new system will allow you to complete the necessary "paperwork" for Sun City Missions online. As the trip season approaches, you'll notice a place for you to print out required forms for travel. You will still need a notary's signature, but you will keep it for yourself when you travel. We don't want to see them anymore! Short-term missionary work is easier to prepare for than ever before!
